On Saturday, May 1, 2010, Boothbay’s own Hodgdon Island Inn re-opened its doors as a coastal Maine Bed and Breakfast once again. As we hung up our virtual “Open for Business” sign the phone rang and before we knew it we had guests on our very first night! Wow! What fun! Richard and I, and Ms. Charlie, (the regal feline to whom we belong) have been very touched by the response! We feel as though we have become instant members of several families now and are looking forward to celebrating these new and wonderful friendships for many years to come.
